Swines are passive mobs (critters) only found on the surface of Terra. They are a source of pork, a food type. The pork can later be cooked in a Forge to produce cooked pork, which is more efficient in healing than its uncooked counterpart. There is also a very small chance that it will drop a Pig Nose. A female is known as a Sow, and a male is known as a Pig.

Swines must first be captured through the use of a Taming Collar. They can be housed in a Pig Trough in groups of up to three, by tapping the trough while holding a pocket animal.
