Fishing Poles
Fishing Poles are items implemented in the 2.2 Summer update, and are used for Fishing. They are actually considered Weapons in the game, but do not have any durability. All fishing rods appear to have the same range, but vary in crafting materials. To cast a line into any liquid, the player must have at least one lure or hook equipped in the player's ammunition slot. Once this has been done, simply face a body of water and tap anywhere on the screen. To retrieve the line, tap on the screen again. If a fish is hooked in the line, the lure will quickly bob down lower than usual. To land the fish, tap the screen as fast as you can, and the fish will fly up from the water and land beside you.
All basic Fishing Poles require a Tinkerer's Tools to be crafted. There are 3 other fishing rods which can be obtained, whether it be from iAPs, from mobs or from Fishing
