Creative Mode

Creative mode is a Game Mode exclusive to Junk Jack X, as the only way to play the original Junk Jack was in survival mode. With creative mode enabled, the player is completely immune to any damage type, including fall damage (which is negated anyways using the fly ability) and explosion damage. Creative mode can only be enabled when creating a new world, as having the ability to switch to creative mode when playing in survival mode may allow players to spawn in items generally not obtainable in normal gameplay or items that the player doesn't have yet. Since all creative worlds are generated as Standalone Worlds, Portals cannot be placed in them, preventing players from traveling to other Planets.

In creative mode, the player is granted the ability to fly for an indefinite amount of time, which can be toggled by tapping on the player icon in the bottom left corner. When the player has flying mode enabled, the player in the icon will appear to be higher up than usual. A major downside to fly mode is that the player cannot step up ledges only one block high, and will have to control the crosshair to move around it.

Many Items have been excluded from the available items in the menu, as only the most necessary tools can be found. All mobs spawned can be killed using one hit with any item, which is why they aren't included in the menu. Hoes and Hammers are the only metal Tools that can be used in creative mode, as hammers can be used to destroy certain Blocks and hoes can be used to till soil.

Similar to survival mode, there is a day/night cycle. This can however be halted and resumed by tapping on the icon to the right of the fly icon. Beds can also be used to skip night. Creative mode also has a map feature, which is no different from the map in survival.

Items Included in Creative Mode

The following list refers to all of the items that can be found when opening the creative item menu.

Addons

Addons refer to all of the items that allow the player to craft different items when tapped on. In creative mode, however, addons are merely used as decorations and do not serve any purpose. Tapping on an addon in creative mode will cause the game to display a message saying "You need a work hammer to break this." The addons tab also contains chests and animal housing.

Blocks

Blocks are all of the objects the player is surrounded by when in any world. Any destructible object is referred to as a block. All blocks can be instantly broken using hammers or the blocks themselves. Using blocks to break other blocks only works for front layers of blocks. Strangely, Pixel Blocks can be used to break back blocks.

Decorations

Decorations are any items that the player can walk through when placed on a back block, or essentially any block without affecting its solidity. All creative decorations can only be destroyed using hammers.

Furniture

Furniture refers to any non-solid block that can be used for aesthetics or for other special purposes such as sleeping or as a light source. All furniture types can only be broken using work hammers, as when attempting to do so with any other object or the player's Bare Hands, a message will display on the screen and say "You need a work hammer to break this." A notable exception would be the beds, which will cause the player to sleep when tapped on.
