Trees are plants found spread across each of the planets found in Junk Jack X, and come in two different varieties, fruit and wild. Every planet has a certain tree found on the surface, which is generally named accordingly to the environment or biome it is found in. Simply punching the bottom block of a tree would topple the whole entire tree. Trees are vital to a player's survival, as they provide wood and other materials which the player can build with once they are destroyed.

Planting and Obtaining

A tree's growth is simply affected by how far a player is from the plant itself. However there are several factors players may need to take into consideration. All trees require a light sources to grow, whether it be artificial or from the sun. There must also be no block obstructing the tree, as it would limit the plants growth.

Wild Trees

Trees are found scattered across the surface of every planet. Once a tree in the wild is destroyed, it has a large chance of dropping a sapling(s) appropriately named after the tree. These saplings can can later be planted on dirt, or a different variety of dirt found on the planets. Destroying these trees will cause it to drop leaves, wood, the sapling itself, and a fruit item if it can bear one.

Fruit Trees

Fruit trees can't be found naturally in the wilderness, with exceptions being trees added in seasonal updates (pomegranate and plum trees). These trees can only be found when destroying chests or crates, in the form of saplings. Similar to trees found in the wild, they must be planted on dirt to be grown. Besides pomegranate trees, fruit trees only grow to 2 blocks high. Once Fully grown, they will bear fruit, which can later be collected by the player by simply tapping them with bare hands. When destroyed, it will drop one or more saplings, and occasionally fruit.
