Meats are food items dropped by different mobs.
They all heal 1/4 of a heart except for the frog leg which heals 1/2 of a heart
There are 7 types of meats in the game:

Cow Meat dropped by cows

Pig Meat dropped by pigs

Chicken Meat dropped by chickens

Boar Meat dropped by boars

Bear Meat dropped by bears

Frog Leg dropped by frogs

Rotting Meat dropped by some zombies and some slimes

Cooked

All meats can be cooked in a cooking pot except the frog leg and rotting meat.
Once cooked, they all heal 1/2 of a heart

Cow Meat > Roasted Cow Meat

Pig Meat > Bacon

Chicken Meat > Roasted Chicken Meat

Boar Meat > Roasted Boar Meat

Bear Meat > Roasted Bear Meat
