"Display Objects" are a kind of placeable item that can hold other items.
With an item in hand, tap the display object and it will be placed on the (top/bottom)left or (top/bottom)right side according to tap location.
To remove items you can tap the shelf with your bare hands (empty hotslot).
A hammer may be used to destroy the block itself.
