During exploration you may run into a few pieces of fruit. Eating a piece will restore 1/4 of a heart.
Fruit can be also be farmed using the appropriate O-Sapling and can also be used in many recipes.

Fruit Trees

Simply tap with bare hands (empty hotslot) to knock fruit off the tree.
