Monster Pickaxe

The Monster Pickaxe, or Monster Pick, is an item currently legitimately unobtainable by the player. They were originally only intended for use by XsX and Jack, however players have managed to obtain them through the use of a process called HEX Editing or by trading with Hex editors in multiplayer. The developers used monster pickaxes to insta-break blocks without using creative mode. These pickaxes were originally valued for their rarity, however are now considered almost useless by many as they no longer retain their ability to insta-break blocks or be displayed on a shelf.

There have been rumors of players finding them inside chests and crates, however these instances have never been verified or confirmed by long-time players.
